Cab/Uber

Missed the shuttle? Most hotels in the historic district are no more than 6-8 mins from the ceremony by cab. Traffic dependent, of course.

Put your destination as “E Huntingdon St & Drayton St, Savannah, GA 31401“ to ensure you make it to the right area of Forsyth Park.

Driving

Likewise, it shouldn’t take you more than a few minutes to drive. Of note, there is only street parking at Forsyth Park and you will need to drive between the ceremony and the reception locations.

Getting from the Ceremony to the Reception

Shuttles

Shuttles will be provided between the ceremony and the reception. It’s about a 5 minute ride.

Should you choose to drive, it is about a 5 min drive to the IronWorks, where there is street parking again.

    • Atlanta (~3.5 hours, but direct bus and train routes)

  • Three Amtrak routes travel to Savannah, Georgia: Palmetto, Silver Meteor and Silver Star. All travel along the East Coast and stop at many of the same stations.

    If you aren’t starting the trip near one of these routes, you’ll have to ride more than one train to reach Savannah.

    Washington D.C. and New York City are common transfer locations to trains that travel to Savannah.
